This review is from: Faith [Deluxe Edition] (Audio CD)
I really cannot recommend Faith too highly; exitstential obliqueness, stark emotional terrains of bleak lyricism and poetic sketchings on the absurdity of the human condition. Quietly disturbing and infused with a subtle melancholy, the album evokes a cool still calm that is both soothing and contemplative.
Haunting, desolate soundscapes that evoke images of walking through a mist filled forest at midnight, of monolithic buildings and wispy, stick like figures, floating in a swirling fog. Faith is an album that will take you in and out of yourself.
Strange, beautiful, otherworldly music that stirs the imagination and awakens the soul.
Sublime and profound.

Awesome review! always liked the cure. i think the faith album was a "Dark Sounding" period for them. i havent payed much attention to this one and can barely remember pornography but i think its time for me to get them and complete my collection. im a die hard cure fan, robert smith's voice was the ultimate voice of the 80's for me..........i think it still is in a way.....

Thanks man! Pornography is a classic - get the Deluxe Editions of Seventeen Seconds, Faith, Pornography and Disintegration; they are double disc sets with the original album remastered, and a second disc with b-sides, demo's, rarities and live tracks. They are compiled by Robert Smith. These are my four very favourite Cure albums.

I'll be looking for pornography and faith's deluxe edition. I already bought the Disintegration deluxe edtion, its a wonderful 3 discs sets, i love all the rarities on the 2nd disc and the third one is a very good live performance!. have you ever heard the "Join The Dots" compilation? Its a 4 discs set that only have rarities, outtakes and b-sides....its very good and have some songs i never heard from them before. check it out i think they have it here on amazon. Maybe a bit expensive but its worth it!
