Free lunches don't pay your mortgage or land you clients. Adrienne's book showed me above all else how to identify situations when I am being politely taken advantage of by under-valuing or under-billing my services. She has written verbiage into this book to help me when I am being asked for the information or knowledge that I just don't have the time to spare - without payment. "Knowledge workers" like myself - people that get paid for what they know, experiences they have, and ideas they generate - often don't get the same level of respect as people that produce tangible goods. This book shows you when to say yes to offers of free lunches and "can I just pick your brain?" requests and turn them into profitable and stress-free interactions with future clients.
