Brings Rudolph to life in a new and delightful way,

This review is from: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (App)
So you don't have the voice of Burl Ives narrating the story, but this is still a wonderful little app chronicling the story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. It's basically an interactive version of the original 1964 animated special, with enlarged versions of various scenes, background audio clips from the special, and special effects to make the snow really fall and Rudolph's nose actually glow. Children will love the bright sights and sounds (even the growl of the Abominable Snow Monster) and can even improve their reading skills at the same time. You can choose to read the story yourself or to have the story read to you by the narrator, in which case you can follow along as each word being read is highlighted on the screen. You can either turn the pages yourself or let the app do it for you. On top of that, you can touch different objects on the screen and see their names displayed while you are listening. While kids will obviously get the most out of this product, this is really a great app for all Rudolph fans - old and young alike.
