4.0 out of 5 stars Worth it for the right price, May 22, 2009

This review is from: IMAX Ultimate Collection (DVD)
Amazon independent sellers sell this for $30; not pay more that this, though. Some of the movies seem like filler movies, although I haven't watched them all yet. Still, for $[30], you end up paying $1.50 a film, which is pretty darn good. And most of these films are very educational and visually stunning.

Also note these films are presented in 4:3 or standard presentation. This is in proportion to the IMAX 70mm film.

All in all, great for the family if you pay the right price for it.

I'm just wondering why I would buy this for my 50" HD if it's presented in 4:3. Kind of defeats the purpose of IMAX doesn't it?

Shogo, you are listed as the most helpful review so I will address this to you: Please provide a list of all twenty titles. A complete list of the individual titles is not provided anywhere. Please help with this! Thanks.

IMAX is presented in its true form- that's how they're filmed! They aren't filmed in widescreen.
