French Market chicory coffee is so verrry strong. It must be mixed with other regular coffee(at least 1/2 to 1/2) I have two cans left and haven't opened yet. Does anyone want to buy them back from me?

Baron Von Shavenwell says:
The directions (on the top of the can) say that you need half as much of this coffee than you would regular coffee. If you're adding more coffee, that's why your brew is so strong. There's no need to mix more coffee in with this. It is ready to brew as is, and brews darker than regular coffee. The directions call for using 1/2 to 2/3 the grounds you would normally use in your usual brew.

When brewed correctly, French Market C&C City Roast is the best coffee I've ever tasted.

I agree- you are using WAY too much coffee. Just try again as the directions say and you will enjoy it!

My comment is this:
it takes time and a little experimentation to find the right amount of coffee to use for your tastes.
That said, the wife likes a little bit of Maxwell house with 2 flat T's in her electric maker.
And I like two fat T's in a Vietnamese dripper. Go figure!
But don't give up, because this and Cafe du Monde are really the best.
