Not 88% Nylon, but 88% Cotton.,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Champion Women Double Dry 7 Bike Shorts (Apparel)
I'm looking for a pair of shorts for hiking purpose: fast drying and avoid leg rubbing. The product description says it contains "88% Nylon 12% Spandex Crotch Liner: 90% Polyester 10% Spandex", which sounds like the product I need. But when I received it, the shorts didn't feel like all synthetic. I checked the label and it showed: "88% cotton...". Oh well, I had to return it. It took a week for the product to arrive and my trip is coming up. Now I have to look around again. I wish whoever enter the product descriptions could be more precise on that.

Joy H. says:
The product description clearly indicates BODY: 88% cotton/12% spandex. Crotch LINER: 90% cotton/10% spandex. Perhaps when you originally read this your eyes saw the opposite.

I am looking for the same produce - shorts for hiking that are moisture wicking/ fast drying and will avoid leg rubbing. What product did you end up finding? I'd love to know what worked for you, thanks!

REI (dot) com tends to have more technical clothing. I found some nylon/spandex blend running shorts that would probably fit the bill nicely. Look for the REI Fleet Knee Shorts and the Marmot Trail Breeze Shorts.
