Something different BUT I LOVED it!!!!!,
This review is from: Agent of Artifice (Kindle Edition)
Agents of Artifice is all about what if the witches, wizards, and fairy godmothers, and what if instead of being called those particular names, what if they were called adepts? Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect with this fantasy filled book. AS I began reading and after the first 2 and a half chapters I felt like I was taking every step with the characters. I was drawn into this world where people of paranormal powers walked and existed with regular humans.
So, we meet Michael; a rogue adept and watch him embark on a mission to assassinate Fidel and Castro in Havana. But of course the book wouldn't be interesting if he didn't get caught, which weakens his powers. This is a part in the book where the hero is tested, as all us authors know, but no matter the situation or problem the hero always figures out a plan.
The magic that was used in Sheldon's book, was different from what we used in Blood Magic, and I loved how he did it seamlessly and made pulled you more into the story by doing so. What other than can I say that I absolutely loved his book. The action keeps you on the edge of your seat and continues until the very end. It was a book that I had a hard time figuring out, which I absolutely LOVE. Books that I can guess who is going to do what and who the bad guy is just frustrates me and it's nothing to get excited about, but Sheldon's book was the complete opposite. It is a great read and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that loves fantasy, and science fiction. It will really get you wanting more!!!
