As far as double albums go, it's right up there with "Exile on Main Street" and "London Calling." What it sounds like is a 2 disc Zep's greatest hits, since it's chock full of such great stuff. Some of the greatest riffs and drum grooves ever are here. "The Rover," "Trampled Underfoot," "Kashmir," "The Wanton Song" where does one start. And of course, my two favorites are "Custard Pie" and "In the Light." "Custard Pie" certainly grooves like a mother, but it's "In the Light" that is truly transcendent. Page's ascending guitar line during the chorus lifts this song into the stratosphere. One of the greatest Zep songs I almost never hear on the radio!
