Great album, poor vinyl quality,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Harlem River Blues (Vinyl)
The content of this album is great, but I'm not going to say much about that.
I would warn anyone who is interested in the vinyl that the quality of the pressing is poor. After already having and enjoying an mp3 version of the album, I was excited to see that there was a vinyl version available. Unfortunately, every track is full of noise and distortion to the extent that it was not enjoyable to listen to. With so many good pressings of new recordings out there, I don't think there's really any excuse for this low quality.
If you want the vinyl as a collectors item, go ahead. If you intend to listen to it, don't bother.

This review is completely valid as a description of the vinyl version - the problem is that Amazon groups the reviews for the CD, MP3, and vinyl versions of the album. They really need to provide the ability to review *one* specific version instead of all three.

Does the vinyl come with a free digital download of the album?
