5.0 out of 5 stars Great GPU for gaming or mining, October 30, 2013

This review is from: XFX Core Edition HD7850 860MHz 1GB DDR5 2x Mini DisplayPort/HDMI/2xDVI Graphics Card FX785AZNL4 (Personal Computers)
I now have two of these cards and am very impressed with the speed and detail of various games I have played. This replaced two 6770s which I moved to another computer. Of the two I have installed, one stays much cooler than the other but this is more about the position of the cards in the case rather than cards. The construction of the fan and board cover is very heavy and solid.

I use these GPUs for dual purposes, Gaming and bit/altcoin mining. While there are not really an efficient option for mining anymore, expect to see about 330 KH/s (scrypt) on average with very little tweaking. When mining, I believe I have them set at 850 mhz core and 1200 mhz memory. I might be off on that since I haven't had to look at them for quite some time. They do exactly what I expect and I rarely need to restart my miner software due to a GPU issue.

You can push it 1050/1200 and get around 375, with a very low temp (high 60s). I think it can go even higher since I have some PowerColor 7850s going at 1100.
