What you need to know before using Blue Juice,
This review is from: Blue Juice Valve Oil (Misc.)
First of all, Blue Juice is a great valve oil. If you are switching to Blue Juice from a non-synthetic valve oil (or from any valve oil, really) then you need to at the very least rinse out your valve casings and valves and let them air dry. You need to get the old oil off of your valves before applying a new one so they don't intermix and cause your valves to gum up, stick, or corrode. I've found that Blue Juice does a great job in protecting from corrosion, in fact, I switched from a non-synthetic because that valve oil was corroding my valves.
Blue Juice works great. I tend to oil my valves once a week, but you could go longer easily, I just don't chance that as a performer. Over oiling your valves is as bad as under-oiling, so just get a feel for when your valves start to feel a bit sluggish and apply.
