1.0 out of 5 stars Metamorphosis Blu-ray, January 2, 2012
This review is from: Metamorphosis [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
Just another intelligent design propaganda video cloaked to appear as science. It is a shame these people go to so much effort to produce something that only preaches to the choir.

J Collins says:
She wrote the same damn thing on 28 Dec on the DVD.
Choir, read this, on a creationist world-class lepidopterist's gigantic butterfly book (ambiguity intentional) http://www.iscid.org/papers/Dembski_BR_Butterflies_122101.pdf
It will cheer you enormously.
So, pseudo-Janet, you wouldn't be so critical, you'd give it more stars, if it preached to you? Yes, we believe you :!

Janet C says:
William A. Dembski? You are joking with me right? After completing graduate school in 1996, Dembski was unable to secure a university position; from then until 1999 he received what he calls "a standard academic salary" of $40,000 a year as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Discovery Institute's Center for Science and Culture (CSC). "I was one of the early beneficiaries of Discovery largess," says Dembski. As of 2008, Dembski serves as a senior fellow at the CSC, where he plays a central role in the center's extensive public and political campaigns advancing the concept of intelligent design and its teaching in public schools through its "Teach the Controversy" campaign as part of the institute's wedge strategy.

K. W. Lowery says:
The link was not about what Dembski said, but about what Bernard d'Abrera wrote about the evolutionist cult. Janet, you obviously did not read it, and I doubt you even watched the movie.

Quoted from d'Abrera:
"The really dangerous part of this global pseudo-scientific cultism is that our worker has unconsciously been made to pass from the intellectual liberty provided within the legitimate realms of distinterested hypothesis, into the cul-de-sac of
totalitarian absolutism of unprovable dogma.... Evolutionists thus become roped into the bondage of their own theory. They postulate it as holy writ and then labour ceaselessly to find the 'evidence' to fit it. Such tendentious labours only bestow the opprobrium of 'contrivance' upon the evidence so gleaned."

If only the quote came with a decoder ring. Sorry I know that is flippant but whatever happened to keep it simple?

I didn't buy the movie. It was a so called 'gift'. But I did watch it. Just didn't find it fascinating or life altering.

If you didn't watch it, please don't post. People don't want your pre-conceived opinion, they want to know what you thought of the movie AFTER you purchased.Waste of your time and everyone elses.

sounds like you have a real "view point" problem Ms Janet C - I thought that science was open, tolerant & it has been its goal to look at the facts - are you saying your view is more valid than someone elses? it is easy to sound like a bigot on your end that doesn't permit all views
