not the best for running

This review is from: Casio Men's WS220-1A "Tough Solar" Digital Sport Watch (Watch)
I went looking for a new watch after my Timex Ironman died (I compete in marathons and ultras--I'm not crazy about the more expensive GPS watches, since their batteries won't always last over the course of races that may last for 12-24 or more hours), and was out of warranty. I liked that the Casio was solar powered, so it would last longer than the Timex, plus it would store 120 laps. Perfect, or so I thought. When I got the watch, I found the numbers to be too small for viewing when actually using it during a race/workout, and the countdown timer (which I rely on heavily to remind me to eat/drink) only repeats 10 times before it needs to be reset (compared to the Timex, which repeats indefinitely)--a major drawback for me. I returned the watch, and when back to another Ironman--the tradeoff for the solar feature was not worth it. The best part of the purchase? Amazon made returning it VERY easy, which is why I but many things from them--the customer service is amazing!
