No Audio thru HDMI cable,

The BD-E5900 has many features but the audio is not making it through the HDMI cable. I've tried both HDMI cable versions (1.3 and 1.4) but only using the Coaxial Digital Output yielded audio.
The User's Manual states that the audio is indeed present in the HDMI cable, but it doesn't work for me. Item puchased from Amazon.
Firmware is version 1007.
Because of the above, I cannot recommend this product.
FOLLOW UP: After calling Samsung Cust Support, I was asked to do a "Hard Reset", but pushing and holding the Play/Pause button located on the BD-E5900 front panel. After seting up all of my personal setting, the audio is working fine thru the HDMI cable. I now would recommend this BD Player and would give it 5 stars.
