Laughed so hard I cried,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs: As Retold by Mo Willems (Hardcover)
Look in the cookie jar!
I bought this for my kid, or at least that was the cover story. Really I just wanted more Mo Willems in my life, and this seemed like a good way to get a dose. As we have come to expect from his other books, it was hilarious. It was also a little Roald Dahl in the absurd motivations of the antagonists. The three dinosaurs prepare a bunch of chocolate pudding and then sneak off to the woods, because their favorite snack is best when stuffed with chocolate.
You'll be glad to know that the Trixie lookalike escapes, but not before she's thoroughly understood the size dimorphism of dinosaurs and little girls.
Read if: You love Mo Willems. You would like to spend sleepless nights why dinosaurs would live in Norway, let alone how they would engage in tourism.
Skip if: You will be offended by humor centered on attempting to devour little girls.
