1.0 out of 5 stars It worked so well...o wait, July 14, 2013

This review is from: The Accessory Pro® Removable Floaty + Anti-Fog Inserts compatible with all GoPro® cameras (Camera)
Good news: I now have a green floaty item. Also, this product was able to receive at least a one star review.

Bad news: I am in search of a new GoPro... After placing the adhesive a week before my short kayak trip, and occasionally checking the velcro was attached, I was shocked to only be left with the float attachment at the end of my 1.5 hour trip.

You think a better velcro would be used for this item. Please search elsewhere if you are looking to actually have your GoPro when you emerge from the water or else you will out hundreds of dollars. This product is not worth any price in comparison to a missing GoPro and priceless pictures. Hopefully this items will be taken off the market soon. BUYER BEWARE!

how did you have it attached, just the velcro? Did you use the strap too?

Obviously you hit something strong enough to not only rip the GoPro 3m mount off your kayak but also the floaty and safety rope. I don't think that's the products fault.

Not sure about that. Considering that we were on open water whatever caused the gopro to separate should have been withstood by proper manufacturing.

The Velcro. And the strap was connected to me.

Makes sense why you lost your camera now. The tether would need to be attached to the camera, not you, for it to float the camera if the velcro didn't hold. Seems pretty obvious you would be left with a floaty and no camera. The instructions even say that, should be attached to the cameras backdoor.

Eh. It should have worked even without the strap. I'm just upset at myself for cheaping out and buying a product that works only sometimes especially for a product so nice. Next time I will buy the actual GoPro accessory.
