Magdalena. You are the only one to mention the important fact that "The Last Suspect" is the last "Prime Suspect". I had heard it was when it was on PBS in my area, however because of the dreaded "check you listings to find out the day and time" message I missed it. I have just an eensy bit of uncertainty that this was the last one (I can't believe the last one was SEVEN years ago). I would appreciate, if you don't mind, e-mailing me just to validate the last vestiges of doubt in my mind.
The British crime series have always been so well crafted that one episode of television show packs more into it than many movies. Whether it be Morse, Cracker (I missed many of those episodes), "Prime Suspect" or the series with Robson Green (I believe that's the correct spelling). Everyone has been good to great. None disappointed. I would also appreciate if you know the name of the series in which Robson Green starred, it's one of my faves. I know it was about a special crimes unit and that he was "messed up" both mentally and physically (from the gunshot to the head).
From what it seems to me, "MI-5" is the last of the great ones standing and it a great show indeed. However, although it appears on a different channel, it has been hard to find because it was pushed to the wee hours of the morning. A slap in the face for this brilliant show.
Sorry for the lengthy discourse and verbiage. I tend to get a bit vebose when talking about something I really like.
As I said, if you would, I'd like to be reassured that "The Last Suspect" is the last in the series and if you could tell me the name of the series with Robson Green.
