Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Nomad Women's Puddles Rain Boot (Apparel)
This boot was nice enough to look at but the sizes are not correct at all. The size 8 was closer to a size 9 1/2 or 10. Also, the print looked like it would get scratched easily. I returned these and got Sloggers instead. They are true to size and the colors are brilliant and go all the way thru the rubber instead of looking like they were painted on the boot. Also...Sloggers are made in the USA.
The company that I purchased these from were very nice and there was no problem returning the boots. I also got my credit in a timely fashion. As always it's a joy to deal with Amazon and their suppliers.

Thank you, having to 'figoure out sizing' is stressful. I checked out the sloggers and they are attractive and... cheaper. Your "Made in the USA" and true to size was enough to make me check out Sloggers and I am glad I did!

Keep in mind this could be because most rainboots are designed to fit liners and thick socks.

After I bought these and read your review I always had Sloggers in the back of my mind. I recently bought a pair of Sloggers and they are light years better than these.

If you read the description, they specifically tell you to order a size down from what you normally wear . . .

Good info. I have the Sloggers garden shoes and LOVE them. After reading your review, I will now order the Sloggers boot in Midsummer blue at almost half the price. Thanks for taking the time to review the boot.

I bought the sloggers and they rub the back of my leg if you don't tuck your pants way down in the boot. I had worn them with capri's and that was a mistake, due to the rubbing. I also had to order a size up because they do run a little small and snug.
