This review is from: Little Tikes Cozy Coupe 30th Anniversary Car (Toy)
I find the complaints on here a little hard to believe. I found the instructions, while lengthy, very simple to follow and easy to accomplish. This is a great product. I put the coupe together Christmas Eve, after about five cocktails, and it still only took me about twenty minutes. Some people just like to complain, I guess... and others are incapable of doing things for themselves.
My little girl (14 months) loves her coupe and was playing in it instantly. She quickly figured out how to get in the seat and start to play. The cutest thing is watching her open and close the doors herself and then draping her arm over the windowsill, just like a grownup.
If you are at all handy, do not be intimidated by the complainers... it is an easy job, well documented and quality constructed item.

Did the 5 cocktails help with the assembly? :-)

Or some people had an entirely different experience than you...

LOL, that was harsh. Some people are not handy and they still get by even tho they are "incapable".

...and I find your review a little difficult to believe. I read through every one of the one and two star reviews, the majority of which complain hugely about the incredible difficulty they had with its assembly, and found them for the most part to be lucid, thoughtful and simply frustrated. They also, to a PERSON, admit that however difficult it was, and however badly customer service sucks, their kids love it. So are you suggesting that each and every one of these reviewers is inept? Give me a break.

I have to agree with you, Turk! While it took me a little more than 20 minutes (more like about 45-60 minutes -- although I was sober at the time... maybe I needed a few cocktails!!), the directions were indeed very straight-forward and quite easy to follow. The illustrations were good and the description (narrative) was spot on. All that is required is a bit of patience and concentration. I just finished assembling the Cozy Coupe a few minutes ago, and will present it to our grandson in a few days (his second birthday), so I can not attest to the "play value" at this juncture!

I agree with Tadd. This took concentration and the tools, thanks everyone for the drill tip. The manufacturer, made in the USA, must have read the complaints about the instructions, because they added another page for wheel assembly. Gr-aunty Anne Marie came through with baby girl's favorite toy!
