This review is from: Davidson's Tea Bulk, Anise Seed, 16-Ounce Bag (Grocery)about buying spices labeld "tea" but these anise seeds smell and taste great and make cookies like any other anise seed.....so don't let the name fool you!

Thank you! I thought this was a great deal for organic anise but I was confused by the 'tea' label too (I guess some folks drink anise seed as a tea though). :)

I'm glad you took the risk too! I really appreciate your review. It helps someone like me who is thinking the same thing as you...(i.e. "I hope this is what I 'think' it is"). I can't wait to receive my order. I've been reading about the health benefits (not to mention I love the licorice flavor of anise for baking also). :D
Frontier sells two pounds of anise seeds for $15.08 on Amazon's subscribe & save which is a huge commitment for something I will mainly use for tea and baking (and it wasn't even organic) and this was a better deal AND organic and your review definitely helped me in my decision.
