I still love this camera.,
This review is from: OLYMPUS 262855 12.3 Megapixel E-PL1 Pen Camera (Black camera body) (Electronics)
I bought this camera more than a year ago and I am still completely stoked on it. One of my best tech buys ever. I love the idea of shooting really good photos with a new digital camera body and a 40 year old lens. Go and get yourself an old Rokkor or Canon FD or whatever kind of old lens and with a $20 adapter you will blow your own mind. I keep thinking to myself that it should Not be this easy to get such good results. I also have a Panasonic G-1 and with a a vintage lens it looks like I am using one of those plastic LOMO lenses. Just put your E-PL1 on "A" (aperture priority) and set the F stop on your old ass lens and hit that Magnifying Glass button and dial in the focus. For 150 Bucks it works way better than it should and you will not be disappointed. p.s. I do not treat my equipment very well and it still looks new!

With the boldy only price so cheap, go ahead and spurge on the VF-2 (a very nice accesory Electronic View Finder-same as used in the flagship OM-d EM-5) if you are going to shoot this body with legacy lenses. You will generaly not need to use magnified view at all b/c the resolution of the EVF is so good compared to the LCD. Also, it helps to stabilize the camera against your face if you are using a long focal length.
