The jump from XP...,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I finally upgraded to Win7 when I put together a new computer recently. As a long time user of XP there were and still are some changes to get used to, but for the most part all is positive, and its just a matter of figuring out where what is again. I really like the option to pin things to the task bar, like anything whether its a program or a web page. I bought a trackpad to use with it, so that I could take advantage of the multitouch gesture support, and yeah they make things fun. Start up is fast, and the entering and exit from sleep mode is quick. The search bar is handy for when you want to access a setting but dont know where to look or dont feel like going thru layers of menus. Can't really say much else to reccomend it that others probably have, but anyway, yeah no buyers remorse here.
I only picked Ultimate because I want the ability to do things on my computer in English and Japanese, and it provides this option thru its Language packs. So far this option works great. I'm looking to test out the voice commands options in Japanese soon too.

I'm also looking for some features the Ultimate edition offers, 35 languages is one. If I cycle my PC between languages, I feel like Spanish, English, and Japanese will stick sooner or later... =]

Right on ;) I went and bought a coool light up logitech keyboard with the extra keys to input Japanese, but due to some random window error, it didnt work at first, and it took me a while to get around to fixing it. Turns out it was something you had to edit the registry to fix. All is well now :) Also I kinda feel like the option to use all those languages will motivate me to brush up on a few... like all that Arabic I learned then forgot from college @_@
