This review is from: Times Up You're Dead (Audio CD)The Alligators are a supergroup of two bands. The first being the singer, the legend himself Roger Miret of Agnostic Front provides vocals for this album. The second being the band called Insted, which provides the instruments for this album. I don't really listen to Insted that much but I LOVE Agnostic Front so I knew this album was gonna be good.
The songs are produced nicely, they have a good sound to them. Their angry as hell, so get ready to be pumped up with energy when you listen to this. The sound is classic early 80's hardcore, with the guitar going really fast and the drums being smashed nonstop, you know your'e in for a good treat when you start up this album.
With topics on the album being about politics to your average social politics songs. The songs are not really that boring when it comes to lyrics. The music and lyrics really come in together nice. Oh yeah this band does a cover of the classic Negative Approach song "Ready To Fight", which is awesome in every way possible.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention, most people won't care (like me) but there is a TON of swearing on this album. For some people it's like "turn it off it's so offensive" but to me it just makes the album more aggressive and intense.
So if your'e into hardcore punk or you wanna listen to some really angry music, check this stuff out, It will make you crap your pants.
