Our Daughter Loves this video,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Baby Nick Jr. Curious Buddies - Let's Move (DVD)
We bought this video to give our daughter something to watch & listen to. She doesn't watch a lot of tv, BUT, absolutely loves this video. She loves seeing the kids playing and dancing and likes the colorful puppets. He favorite part of the video is the Head, shoulders, knees & toes 'video'. She's 13 months and has almost got the whole 'dance' down. The songs on this video aren't annoying to me or my husband - in fact our favorite is ring around the rosy (it is quite nice!).
One quick note in reference to another review... The yoga sequence is in the video purely for fun, exercise and streching (the names are cute and the poses are fun to do), not as a means of enlightenment; in fact there is no reference to any type of religion in the video. It's a singing, dancing and moving video JUST as the title states.

Yoga in itself, in any form no matter how fun or subtle, is a reference to a specific religion.

The song "ring around the rosy" is about the ring from the glass and flame "healing" method used on black death victims in Europe. "Pocket full of posies" were the flowers they used in an attempt to cover the smell of rotting corpses. I think "ashes, ashes, we all fall down" needs no further explanation. Cute tune, but so disturbing when you know what the words mean. My daughter loves the other Curious Buddies dvd we have and I think she'll LOVE of this one as she's just started "dancing." But think I'll cover her ears for that song!!! Oh, and why not tolerate and even appreciate religions that are not your own? And in case the below person has not noticed, yoga, like many other sacred things, has become so Americanized, that its true meaning is forgotten for most. Ever been to a yoga class?
