Great, but wear out quickly.,
This review is from: Skechers Women's Go Walk Slip-On (Apparel)
These lasted me about three months. Maybe.
They are super, super light weight and the canvas is surprisingly sturdy. They're well constructed and easy to slip on. There's a very free range of motion, and stay on well should you need to run for the bus. There are a lot of fun colors so far, and I've seen some Mary Jane varieties as well. Some waterproof spray makes these okay in rain, too.
The sole is made from Resalyte, which makes it ridiculously light. While that's great, it also wears down really quickly. In less than three months it wore away to the insole of my shoe. With a retail price of $60, I just don't think it's worth it.
I would rather have a heavier shoe that lasted longer than a light one that eroded in no time. Their LIV and SKX collections are lightweight but sturdier-- but I haven't seen any nice slip-ons. There is a LIV style that's a velcro Mary Jane (called 'Happy" for one color) that may work for you if you reconsider these.

I had a similar problem with mine. They were great, sooo comfy, but the little spongey circles on the bottom started wearing out, particularly in the ball of the foot. I walk outside on pavement and it seems like it wore this poor little shoe right out

Mine wore down in two months! I walk my dogs every day and needed a soft shoe that stays on my narrow heel. These are very comfy and stay on my foot but wear down extremely fast!

I purchased the skecher's GOWALK shoes as well and I have steel in both my knees so "LIGHT" made me purchase them. They were so comfy and light weight but, I too walk my dog each day and I purchased mine in August and my soles are wore down now as well I paid $ 72.00 plus HST so that's a REAL OUCH for me. Improve your life on your soles and you'll have a true WINNER.

I experienced this exact same thing and felt "crazy" because others were reviewing the shoe so well! I actually bought two pair, first the Go Walks that have no laces, a slip on and when they wore out, I figured something like that was not sturdy enough for loads of walking. Then, I bought regular Go Walk sneakers and within 3 months, a huge hole formed on the ball of both shoes. As Jessalyn above said, I would rather get a heavier shoe than have to replace it in 3 months. I think many people write these reviews a day, week after they wear them and then the shoe breaks down and they dont revise their review. Will never buy them again!

The other day, 10 months after purchase and first use, the sole allowed something sharp to penetrate. What's more, it captured the intrusion, so I had difficulty finishing my walk. Now I have a tiny hole in my foot. This was not good. However, I walk at least two miles a day, some times 4 miles, every day, with my two dogs; and the comfort of such a great shoe is more important than the sole getting soft. Still, there must be a stronger sole out there that's not too heavy.
