Hi, Oh yes, I too, am sure that Larry Hagman would have wanted the show to continue. I watched this season on Netflix. I didn't or couldn't pay the kind of attention I really wanted to to the show, but I saw enough of it to know it is definitely not just a reboot. I will watch the show again in its entirety once I purchase it, and I'll save my comment until then. But I will say this, Cliff Barnes, isn't he something!. Okay, now am I to understand that he got his own daughter to marry his nephew?!. I know some people will say they are not related. To me, it makes no difference how a person comes to be in a family, that still makes them part of the family. Though there isn't any sort of bloodline between Christopher and Rebecca, they are still cousins. I'm sure I'm not spoiling anything by mentioning that Christopher became the son of Pamela and Bobby when Christopher's unscrupulous father contacted him about Christopher's existence. Bobby first thought that Christopher was the biological son of JR's because Kristen and he had had an affair. But when JR sent her off to California, with juicy checks coming in every month to keep her mouth shut, she was pregnant then. But she lost the baby. She got involved with the sleazy character, Jeff Faraday, who got into trouble with some drug dealers and "sold" his and Kristen's child to Bobby. At the time Pam was going through some very suicidal moments because she couldn't have a child. When she saw Bobby with Christopher she thought Bobby had brought the child home from the adoption agency. And the rest is history. So for Cliff to use his daughter to try to gain control of the Ewing Empire (I am reading the story right, right?)
by marrying her own cousin is disgusting and despicable. Period. I think that tops anything JR did during his reign over the Ewing Empire. He did some pretty despicable things too. But that is definitely a cake topper. Wow! I haven't seen any of season 2. It is to be released on DVD on February 11, 2014. I can't wait to see that one. February is going to be a real interesting month for me. I can't wait to finish getting the rest of the first Dallas Seasons: 11-14, plus the movies. And I am going to buy Dallas 2: both seasons, so far.
