The best installment in the GTA series,
This review is from: Grand Theft Auto V - Xbox 360 (Video Game)
Back in the late 1990's a friend of mine invited me over as he found an awesome game. The game allowed you to steal cars, shoot people and just cause chaos. The game was Grand Theft Auto and it raised the bar in gaming as every sequel has been more ambitious than the previous one. Now Rockstar has raised the bar yet again with Grand Theft Auto V but is this game worth the hype?
This installment goes to the state of Los Santos (which mirrors life in Southern California) but unlike it's predecessor the scope of this game is vast. From the rich neighborhoods of Rockford Hills to the sunny beaches of Vespucci Beach this has to be the biggest GTA game released to date. The single player experience follows three people as the stories are intertwined between these three individuals. A former bank robber Michael De Santa , his partner in crime Frankie Clinton and the psychopath of the group Trevor Phillips.
While this might seem like a typical setting for a Grand Theft Auto game this is where the developers decided to throw all that out the window. You can plan each of the heists that you go on and decide which way to approach them. You can go in all silent and not choose to kill anyone or go loud and cause chaos in the traditional GTA sense. In these missions you can select between the three characters effortlessly. So if you are in a firefight and need some support you can switch to another character to provide sniper cover.
But you might be asking what about in between missions are there things to do? There are PLENTY of things to keep you occupied in the vast environment that Rockstar has created. From exploring underwater off the coast of Vespucci Beach to taking up a round of golf there are more than enough to keep you occupied for hours and hours. And that isn't even scratching the surface on the multiplayer options as Rockstar as you can create your crew and even transfer them over from Max Payne 3.
With tons of missions, three characters to jump between and loads of content to be experienced offline as well as online it is a no brainer GTA V is one to get. For more information on this game go to [...] and get ready to have some fun in San Andreas.
