This is a very, very good rice cooker. I have used it around a dozen times since buying it. I use Jasmine Rice from Walmart, and it tastes delicious. I rinse the rice in cold water before putting it into the rice cooker, and I haven't once had scorched rice.

The cooking pot is extremely easy to clean, just wipe it out after it cools off, or before the next use, and it's good to go. The food steamer works great on pre-cooked meat; I haven't tried vegetables or raw meats yet.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants a rice cooker. I'm considering buying one for m mother. Follow the directions and it will give you no hassles.
