Good Sound, Terrible Interface,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: SanDisk Sansa Fuze+ 8 GB MP3 Player (Blue) (Discontinued by Manufacturer) (Electronics)
This player looks nice. I loved my old fuze with its scroll wheel. It was functional, played great, decoded flac files, and really stood up to the beatings I gave it at the gym. I wore it out. I've had this one for a year now, and I'm trying to figure out how to work it (still!). The interface is so unintuitive that I frequently have no idea how to get it to play my songs. Sometimes it will just "pick" four or five tunes to play, to the exclusion of the rest (I have about 100 on it). I cannot get the random song function to work consistently, and I usually can't navigate to the "top". All of this stuff was just fine on the original. I have no idea why they didn't just stick with that design or something similar. Don't buy it!

Did you upgrade the firmware to the newest version on your Fuze+? Because, using the most-recent firmware on my Fuze+, I am able to play FLACs. Did you read the user's manual?
