Did they refund your money? I just bought this and assembled it and I have the exact same problem, it wobbles all over the place. I've taken all my equipment off of it, moved the treadmill, and re-tightened all the knobs and screws and its still horribly unstable. I wish I had seen your video review before I purchased mine.

It relieves me to hear that the customer support is good, because it sounds like I might be able to get a refund. I just contact them via email, waiting for a reply.

Did you buy a different desk? Or build your own? I bought a used treadmill just for this purpose, and still would like to have a treadmill desk...

Thanks
-Chris

Chris,
there was no problem with a refund - amazon is very good about refunds.
in the end my wife built me a desk - very sturdy.
It is very important that for the desk to fit your height - so that your forearms are parallel to the floor when you type while walking.
Pls vote for my review!

Helpful-seeming information, thank you. I would like a bigger desk perhaps than what you were after (one large laptop, room to place my arms and another large linked computer screen, etc.) but the gist of your review were I hope points well-taken.

Looks like a couple of struts anchoring it to a wall or the arms of a treadmill could solve the wobble problem? My desk is 8 shelf boards on top of each other resting on a Nordic Trak treadmill's ~4" diameter arms, and it is rock solid. I eventually added clamps to keep the boards in place, but that was just a nice-to-have. I can easily fit 2 laptops and a mouse plus miscellaneous stuff (webcam, bluetooth headset, glasses, water bottle).

Thanks for the review, very helpful. I need it to be a stable desk, I need a large desk but it cannot move all over.

I really like the desk area so I might chance it; there seems to be enough slots in the "legs" that you could rig some horizontal stabilization bars onto. Like swaybars in cars! I would just like to know how wide that "cutout" in the middle is.

Actually the movement is minor as stipulated by many other users comments of the TrekDesk. Often any slight movement may be taken care of by tightening the end caps and support struts.
