5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing book, March 31, 2012
This review is from: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning The Official Guide (Hardcover)
Wow what can I say about this amazing book, anyway when it finally arrived I couldn't believe the weight of the box,I thought there must me a load of things in there,it weighs a ton or just over 5 LBs and is of amazing quality way better than you'd expect for a game guide, the book in crammed full of useful information about the game and in great detail it has 600 pages and will be a very daunting read, therefore I will only refer to it as and when it's needed, but if I could have changed one thing it would be the spelling as everything is in American English or lazy English as I prefer to call it,other than that it is perfect and by far the best game guide I have ever seen.

Lazy English huh? Some of you Brits just cannot stop bashing for one thing or another anything American. The game is made in America not UK last I checked so ofc it would be in English.Maybe some of those great British gaming companies will come out with a game and a guide just for the "non lazy" English language .Oops I forgot almost all the great gaming companies are American.

See how ignorant I sound by making comments for no reason at all? Maybe you should think of that next time you write a review rather than use it as a platform for you to bash other things.

Wait a minute I was only making a joke and Americans often criticise us Brits,I realise the game was made in America, but most of the characters accents are British ones, anyway stop sounding so bitter and to say that most great gaming companies are American is not true as most are Japanese, all I meant was it would have been nice that the books coming to the United Kingdom used English spellings just as when we sell things in America we have to change these things to suit Americans.

The text was originally written with British spellings, all of the authors are British actually. The text was changed to suit the target market. "Almost all great gaming companies are American" - I'm sorry, but that simply is not true.

Thank you for the information and I agree with you regarding American gaming companies not being the best, besides gaming is a world wide thing and everybody contributes to it.
