2.0 out of 5 stars Very awkward fit, May 12, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Puma Women's Voltaic 5 Running Shoes (Shoes)
The shoe looks exactly like how it looks on screen BUT I was very disappointed with the fit.

It is not too big or small BUT very very uncomfortable. It is not suitable for running at all and gives a very lumpy feel. Also the shoe is narrow at the toes and I lose feeling after a while there. The sole is also kind of hard. It is quite heavy and uncomfortable shoe and in fact slows me down while running.
Did not expect such a poor product from Puma.

It is a training shoe, not a running shoe.

What does that mean? What's the difference between the two? Thanks

Training is better done with a flat shoe, minimal support and more contact with the ground. A running shoe will usually be more padded, to absorb more shock. That is the difference, this one is designed to be used for training (using more of your foot and less padding on the shoe) than running (which uses too much padding to really be any good at training).
