I had high expectations when I heard this book was coming out and Ms. Thomas didn't disappoint. In my opinion this is the best in the Harmony series, and that's saying a lot because the others have been outstanding. I like how she keeps the series fresh by introducing a couple of new characters each time she writes a new one. In this story, it's Tinch Turner and Addison Spencer. Tinch is a true hero if I ever saw one. And he's sexy as he can be. The only problem he has is not caring about living to see tomorrow. It takes a little homeless boy and Addison to help him see that he still has a lot of living left to do before he hangs it up.
Another thing I like about Ms. Thomas's series is that she revisits some of the previous characters and adds pieces to their lives. Reagan and Noah, Uncle Jeremiah, Tyler and Kate all make an appearance in this one and the reader gets caught up on all the doings and goings on. These people have become like members of my family.
I laughed and I cried as I read this story. Ms. Thomas really knows how to pull out all the stops and wring emotion from each word. There is a warmth and depth to all of her stories and this one is chock full. I recommend it to any reader who's looking for a book that will satisfy and delight. I guarantee this one will.
I hope Ms. Thomas never quits writing. She provides the reading world with untold entertainment.
