This was my first and last Danielle Steel book. I don't know what was worse- the short choppy sentences, the repetition-the horrible repetition, or the fact that every problem was resolved so perfectly by all four perfect sisters in their perfect life with their perfect jobs and perfect dogs....blech. The first four chapters were painful to get through, with each being dedicated to one of the four perfect sisters and their perfect life. One was a model that was so perfect that EVERYONE just loved her and we were told that about 46 times through the chapter. Sometimes I thought I had put my book mark in the wrong page because I was reading the same thing again that I had previously read word for word, not too long after the first time I read it. It was a horrible book. Next time I go to buy a Danielle Steel book, I'll just light my money on fire and save the hours that would have been spent reading another saccharine, picture perfect, repetitious disaster.
