Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: iRobot Braava 380t Floor Mopping Robot (Misc.)
I am updating my review because I will end up returning this product. Starting my 3rd use for the mopping feature, the GPS and the Braava are no longer connecting. The navigation cube just blinks and the unit just does a spot cleaning in the same area and then both items shut off after 5 minutes. This is not the first mopping of this room, so according to the manufacturer, the room is stored in the cube memory. I have shut the cube and the Braava off and tried moving the cube to another location in the room without any success. At this point, it is quicker to mop the floor by hand. For what initially was purchased with great anticipation, has turned into major disappointment.
I am only giving this product a 3-star primarily due to the poor technical support offered by the company. I called at 9:00EDT to ask a technical question and continued to call technical support until 9:30EDT when the office hour recording was removed and someone actually answered the phone. Two calls to the Sales department one at 9:00 and one at 9:15 were answered promptly. Company hours are 9:00-7:00EDT.
I receivied my Braava yesterday. After charging, I set the unit to mop my kitchen which is approximately 14 x 14. Based on recommendations from reviews on the 'Mint' model I filled the mop attachment with distilled water and also pour water around at different spots on the floor to aid in keeping the mopping cloth wet. The liquid goes into the floor mopping head into two channels. Next time, I will just use the water in the mopping head to see how long that lasts before a refill is required. I purchased this unit primarily for the floor mopping. I also have a Neato for daily vacuuming.
Unit is whisper quiet. I had to get up a couple of times to make sure it wasn't stuck some where.
The unit is 110/220 voltage compatible, even though the documentation says to use 110 voltage only. Since I live overseas, this was a big plus. I only needed an adapter plug and did not have to use a transformer.
Because it just damp mops, the floor dries quickly.
Can't set a schedule
Does not return to its charging dock, it stops when it thinks it has finished the room.
The V-shape mopping doesn't do well along baseboards. When it hits the baseboard, or cupboard the unit backs up and goes back to the v-shape mode and heads back to the same spot. It doesn't make right angles to mop along the edge, however in dry sweep mode the unit does right angles.
If this improves with additional use of the product, I will amend this portion of the review.
Mopping my kitchen took over two hours. This could be just because it was the first time it had been used and was getting use to the floor area.

Aloysius Lim says:
When you said it is 110/240V compatible, do the included wall charger and quick charging station support 240V, or did you have to buy a separate adapter?
