Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hostess Twinkies 10 ct Sponge Cake with Creamy Filling 13.5 oz (Grocery)
The service was very good but sad to say the product was not what i expected. There was a black line written on the box which by experience told me that the item was already old and boy were they!! They were very dry and sticky and hardly contained any filling. Certainly Not worth my ten dollars!! I would say to anyone interested in this item online to buy them at the market. They may at least be fresher.

black line on a box or package means thrift store sale item

I wouldnt go with a thrift store sale but yea, they have Hostess stores.... well they did... and they shipped the almost expired stuff to there to sell for cheaper. They were 'old'. Also goes for a red line as well!

Only here on Amazon, do people complain about a Twinkie that has been the same for decades.
