J. Cameron-Smith says:
Thanks, Steven. I may do some other separate analysis of this book elsewhere. At the moment, I am still mulling over possibilities.

J. Cameron-Smith says:
I certainly will. Sometimes (and this is one of those cases) my analysis continues on well after the reading is complete. I know that some of my fellow Bronte readers will like (or have already liked) this collection. Others will not. For me, the intrigue is more in the possibilities and the flights of fancy which creative people can take when a character (and author) becomes a part of their personal psyche. If that makes sense. This sounds good to me. I've got a book like this about Dorothy L. Sayers and I dip into it again and again.

I am a big Jane Eyre fan and am sure I would get enjoyment out of this book as well. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
