US CX(190/CX200/CX210) and (Eu/Asia CX 190E/CX200E/CX210E) .Package is good overall but downside is a smaller sensor(more noise) than the CX130/series
which has a 1/4inch sensor with 1.4Meffective pixels(without Image.Stab). This new one has a 1/5.8inch sensor so smaller and lessor power needed but more noise.
The resolution also drops to 1.31Mpix effective without Img.Stabil. Canons US(Vixia-HF20R) and Asia(Legria HF 205R) are the same range series but pack more pixels in a 1/4inch sensor(2.07Mpix Without I.S. and 1.5M with I.S.). But size, power consumption-battery, weight, look and software are where Sony has the upper hand.
Asia-India seems to have more Sony Direct Sales/Service Centres than Canon.
The older HDR CX130 with a 1/4inch sensor and 1.4MPix effective along with Optical Image Stabilization costs almost the same now.
Alternately the HDR CX260 with Optical Image Stab and 2MPix Sensor(1/3.9inch) having 1080/60p capability vs the 1080/60i for the others is another option at slightly higher price
