As another reviewer stated (wish I had listened) the holes are too small. The only thing you will hit is homeruns because the ball goes right over the holes for base hits and bounces right out of the out holes for outs because the ball hits the wooden piece behind the outs and bounces right over the hole. This was a terribly designed game to be honest and its not really fun. If the game were level the ball would probably go into the hole but it has to be at an angle for the ball to filter down to the bat so thats not an option. This game was a lot of money and you expect a better product so its going to be returned. I guess some companies don't test there products before they sell them and this is a fine example. Oh I will also note that I used three smaller balls of different sizes to try and correct the problem but it still didn't work. Even the smaller bb's just skipped over the holes so the only solution may be to drill bigger holes but I didn't want to do that cause it's going back.
