Why would anyone want to read what this "countryboy" fraud has to say?,
This review is from: Will Oldham on Bonnie "Prince" Billy (Paperback)
Oldham is such a hilarious charlatan! I can't believe this is a real book. This guy's the modern equivalent of Tiny Tim or something. "Ah'm jus a COUNTRY BOY!"

It seems weird to me that nobody else here (or anywhere I've read reviews) has pointed out that portions of this book seem entirely constructed and/ or entirely not real. (e.g. the segment on Oldham's dreams and his interpretations of those dreams; or his idea for a music venue, where live acts play repetitively, on a schedule, like at a movie theatre) I've been a fan of WO, in his various incarnations, starting with the Patience 7", and have enjoyed his various projects since. Simultaneously, however, it's difficult to know how to approach the music after reading this book.
