I, too have a nexus 10. It doesn't work for me with a projector. Sure, I can see the screen on the wall, but it has a nasty purplish tint to it and I can't output sound from the tablet while this is plugged in. Useless for watching movies because of the tint and no sound. I guess I'll stick to using my netbook with the projector because it works great without problems. Going to send this useless cable back.

Did you do any set up in order to make it work? I'm trying here with android 5.0 with no success.

Which ROM are you using? i can see that my vga monitor is receiving the signal, but the output is a black screen. It might be the resolution or the HDMI signal is compressed. Im nota sure yet if a solution will be possible.
