Amazing story about Faith and forgivesness,
This review is from: Waiting for Morning (Forever Faithful, Book 1) (Paperback)
I am already a huge fan of Karen Kingsbury and this book lived up to all my expectations. It was a haunting tale of loss, grief, anger and finally forgiveness. I don't think anyone would know how they would react if their loved ones were killed in a car accident by a drunk driver. This was a huge test of faith for Hannah and Jenny Ryan. I think having a support system as they do in this book helps but you can always shut everyone out. I thought the legal process was interesting to learn more about and was also appalled for the lack of punishment most drunk drivers get. I really liked hearing about some of the inner workings of MADD too. I never realized they did panels with victims at schools and in communities.
I especially was challenged by the character of Carol and how strong she is despite her own personal tragedies. I really felt myself caring for all of the characters in Waiting for Morning and read as quickly as I could to find the outcome. We all go through ups and downs in our life and just by remembering to lean on God we can get through anything.
