This review is from: Diablo 3: Strategy Guide, Limited Edition (Hardcover)
"Expert tips for dominating Multiplayer action over Battle.net in both cooperative and competitive play." How is this possible in a book that was published before the game was even released, and significantly longer before pvp(as I'm sure you mean by "competitive play") was released(which still isn't). This perplexes me quite a bit... Giving one star for undeniably false advertising. On top of that, a book that was released prior to the release of a game that has undergone a TON of changes since then... eww, don't buy this ripoff guide.

you made a lot of very good points, thank you, and yes, lots of changes have already been made, which they can't have accounted for.

I expected changes to occur to the game, and therefore invalidate some of the information in the guide, but the fact of the matter is, the guide doesn't have vital or valuable information in it period. Would you like a list of gem qualities or types? Tough luck. There isn't a single gem listing anywhere in the book. This is only one of the many ways the guide falls short.
But, to be perfectly fair, if you're buying a guide to a game that is online in the first place, you should expect the information to become outdated. It's still a wonderful "looking" book and serves well as a conversation piece. The artwork is beautiful, but as a guide, it is completely lacking in both organization and content. I've considered using the binding as a cover for a notebook etc. xD
