Very unique screen protector,
This review is from: iVisor for iPad 2 - White (99MO020909) (Personal Computers)
I've never written a review before but I am quite satisfied with this product. Zero air bubbles and it leaves no residue behind when I pull it off. It works excellent with the smart cover and I also have an Incipio Smart Feather protecting the back. Perfect combination.
This product solves the inherent weakness of the smart cover for me. (The inside of the smart cover that touches the screen also touches whatever dirty surface you might prop the device up on). Now I have a protector in between them when I close the device.
The texture of the protector is a bit different than the naked screen, but doesn't bother me. Now I can use my iPad with peace of mind.

Regarding the "inherent weakness of the smart cover", did you know you can fold it in such a way that the only part touching the "dirty surface" you choose to prop your ipad up on is the OUTSIDE of the smart cover (the leather or color side), leaving the soft side folded inwards, only ever touching your ipad's screen?
Just wanted to point that out. Its how I use mine, and it works just as well. I think its how they intended it to be folded. Why would you fold it with the screen side touching surfaces, potentially picking up foreign material, and then depositing it on the screen? Hope this helps you and other readers

My smart cover is the leather version. If you fold it the way you're suggesting it immediately collapses. I've looked this up on several forums and everyone else has the same issue. Are you using the polyurethane version? It was not meant to be folded the way you are suggesting.
