I really wanted to love this game. I am addicted to mystery games and this one looked so good. The graphics were so beautiful, the music was a nice compliment, but this game just wasn't any good. It had a great idea, but the story is all laid out for you in the form of a journal at the very beginning of the game, after that you're on your own. There is nothing to move the story forward. You wander around picking up items, and trying to figure out what to do, there is no further interaction with anything to move the story forward. Nothing points you in the direction you should go, or hints as to what you should do next. Interaction with the ghosts would have been fun, and could have served to move the story along. I didn't finish the game, but I figure I was half way through it, and there was none. The games have no context as to whether they are solved from a previous clue, or if you have to just figure them out on your own. It is very disjointed. I found myself constantly referring to the walk through to see if I missed anything, or where I was supposed to go next. Toggling between the two was so annoying I didn't even bother finishing the game. Which is a shame. It was a good idea, great story. I see what they were trying to do, but the execution was bad.
