Ok, here we go...
I ordered these after reading about 500 different reviews and had very high hopes, which is dangerous.....
I received the headphones, connected them to a PS Audio GCHA headphone amp, a PS Audio DLIII dac and a Sonos ZP-90 and started playing a few tunes, varying from Smashing Pumpkins to Classical Music, keeping in mind that out of the box they are not as good sounding as after some playtime.... But... Out of the box I heard things in music I heard a million times before that I have never heard before. These headphone pick up every single detail and play them in your ears. All music was the way it was intended, not a bubble in the middle of your head. The vocals are central and the instruments were in the place where they were when the music was recorded. Music seem to come from outside of the headphones. Voices are as if they are sung into your ears with the singer sitting next to you, acoustic guitars are played with the player sitting in the same room with you, you hear the fingers pluck the snares...
I can go on and on..... so... if you want to experience your music all over again, get these.... BUT.. don't forget to pair them with a good headphone amp, they deserve it. A MP3 player or computer won't make them sound what they are capable of sounding.
