This review is from: Pocoyo And Friends Swiggle Traks Feature Track With Bridge (Toy)
I purchased this at Walmart for 24.58 for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I was honestly a little disappointed upon opening the box. First off, there was no instruction booklet. There are some instructions for inserting batteries printed on the side of the box along with the usual warnings. No instructions for assembling the track, but this is easy enough to figure out after monkeying around with the pieces. The track pieces feel flimsy, but snapped together no problem. There is also a bridge that will "swiggle" back and forth with the push of a button. This feature does not work on anything but a hard smooth surface. I initially set up on a carpeted surface (very flat, low pile rug), but the lightweight track became hung up and only made a click-click-click noise. Once set up on a table top, this feature worked well and the track switched back and forth wildly which was pretty cute. The set comes in a pretty big box but really the whole thing once disassembled will fit in a small shoebox. This is not a problem, but kind of surprising when you take the whole thing out at first. The little car with Pocoyo character is cute. It plays a tune, but the sound of the car's wheels on the track kind of drown out the music. After playing around with it and trying different track configurations I decided to keep it. I think my daughter will get a kick out of it but not sure that it will hold her attention for very long. Also not sure how well it will hold up to a toddler's rough handling. The box says 18 mo. and up for ages, but most info on the internet says 2 to 5 years. I think it is appropriate for 18 months to about 3 years. I don't think a 4 or 5 year old would stay interested for long. It is probably a little overpriced, but what the heck. It's Pocoyo! That alone will make my daughter smile.
