This review is from: GIMP User Manual: GNU Image Manipulation Program : Photo Retouching, Image Composition and Image Authoring (Paperback)
The Gimp User Manual arrived today. I haven't used it yet but it will definitely be a challange just to be able to read it. The entire 653 page manual is done in a 7 point font. It may have a lot of good information, but it won't be easy to extract.

You should at least read it before reviewing it, especially if you give it such a harsh review.

Thank you for giving an even-handed review -- that it contains a lot of information but that the font is very small. For me, small type is a major concern, as a book may be great, but if I am only able to read it with magnification, I want to know that going in.

Good lord! It's a "User Manual," not a novel. The print's too small? Boo hoo! Personally, I'd prefer small print to having to drag a 1000 page plus book off the shelf every time I need to look something up.
