This review is from: Spongebob Squarepants: Atlantis Squarepantis - Nintendo DS (Video Game)
Spongebob Squarepants: Atlantis SquarepantisI love this game it's actually my 6 year old daughters who got it when she was 4 but she is just as addicted as me. I originally started to play it in order to help her out with the game and now I am officially addicted. This is a fairly easy game to figure out there is some reading involved in order to figure out how to get past obsticals in the game however once you do it it's not nessacary to read it again.I highly recommend this game for ages 5 and up.

I have a 5 year old girl who is getting a DSi for Christmas this year. I was wondering if you could tell me what games you think would be easy enough for her to play to begin learning how to use the system. I don't want her to get discouraged if she can't master it right away.
Thanks to anyone who can help out with recommendations !!

Hi Lisa E.,

We recently got a DSi that came with "Mario Party." My girls 7 and 5.5 enjoy it. There are some harder games that my 7-year-old gets frustrated with, but doesn't seem to bother my 5.5-year-old. In the end, it's a personality issue, but Mario Party seems to be versatile enough to be enjoyed from age 5 on.

We are giving both girls "Disney Fairies: Tinkerbell" as x-mas presents this year. The activities are more girly in nature and seem to have more simple games. I will update my post once we get a good feel of their reactions. Good luck!
