Wow! I see you added to your original footage to make a "full-length" film, JP! ... Beautiful scenery you have back there in Idaho, my friend ... complete with a bit of wildlife and a handsome actor in your "swimming hole." (Clue me in on what you're doing in the file cabinet? ... hmmmm) You're getting better and better. Mind if I "hit on you" to do a trailer for my Toonies? ;-)

Thanks for your encouraging and supportive comments, Betty. I was at my file cabinet "Sweding" the movie 'Breach' (making a fake imitation of a known movie), parodying the movie 'Be Kind, Rewind'. I'd be glad if you used any of my footage for the Toonies, but I must confess, I've yet to obtain a copy (blush) ;>)

Interesting footage. How long can you record something on this thing? Also, would you like to take pictures of my debate this week? I can use the propaganda....

Oh, no, NO COPYING your current video, JP. It just wouldn't fit with my TOONIES who live inside a computer and only come out on occasion. I want you to film it and I'll do the script. hehehe ... I guess I should break down and send you a copy since supplies on the market are scarce since I didn't renew my contract with my publisher. I know you'd love my little guys.
Looks like you have two "directorial" jobs. Now our METAkins wants to hire you. You're becoming the next STEVEN SPIELBERG. GO, JP!!! ;-)

You can take up to 60 minutes of video, but then if you save the videos on your computer, you can delete the ones on your camera to free up space. You don't need to pay me for using up advertizing space here, Metamorphic, but I'm sure we can work something out. ;>)
Hey, Betty, I'm getting some accolades and some job offers. I must not be too bad at aim and shoot. Thanks for your support and consideration. :>)

Great review, JP! anyone who adds a video to their review gets an automatic positive vote from me.
Great clever idea approaching a camera review this way. I'm impressed.

Thanks, Woopak. It takes patience, but it's fun enough to be my next new pasttime.

So, when did this product come out? I see at least 1 winter season there (2007?) and a summer?

I did some research for your question. "June 3, 2008" says the product description. I have the exact kind of camera except for those features I mention in the review. This Mino model is thinner and recharges by USB port, but it's still capable of getting videos like the sample provided here. Yes, the winter footage is from the winter of 2007-2008. It's a fun product.

Great idea to post a video! I found it very helpful. My son just mentioned that he would like a video camera for Christmas. He wants it mainly so he can take pictures while snowboarding with friends. Do you think this would be a good choice?
